About the author: Louise Radman is an award-winning wine writer and independent wine consultant. Louise studied at Loreto and Roseworthy colleges, graduating with a bachelor degree in wine marketing from the University of Adelaide. She is a Len Evans scholar, wine show judge and founding head of the state chapter of Sommeliers Australia. She has instituted international wine education programs and acts on numerous judging bodies, and tasting and judging panels. Louise has travelled throughout the great wine regions of the world and undertaken two vintages in Burgundy. She has been awarded the Australian alternative varieties wine show trophy for best journalism and twice SA sommelier of the year, as well as the Daniel Pontifex memorial scholarship. An active member of the international wine community, Louise has developed strong networks and works closely with wine industry leaders, government and media bodies.
